Components
- Bakuchiol is obtained from the plants Psoralea corylifolia, Prosopis grandulosa, and Psoralea drupacea. It is antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-bacterial. It reduces the appearance of photo-aging, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and has better skin tolerance compared to conventional retinol.
- Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is an antioxidant that brightens the skin. It restores cellular energy, repairs damaged DNA, prevents pigmentation of the skin, and preserves hydration.
- Hyaluronic acid increases skin moisture, assists in tissue regeneration, smoothes skin texture, increases elasticity, limits aging, decreases wrinkle depth, enhances skin firmness, and promotes collagen production. Plant-based Hyaluronic Acid is extracted from microbial fermentation. This is a fancy way of saying that a bacterial strain naturally contains Hyaluronic Acid and is then fermented to yield the desired molecular weights ideal for skin care purposes. Some plant-based Hyaluronic Acid is wheat or soy derived.
- Glycerin hydrates the stratum corneum. Glycerin is plant-based and typically comes from soy, palm, and coconut oils. All our ingredients are sustainably sourced.
